Soccer DTS
Using your love for World Game to reach the World!
Whether it is the streets of Bangkok, the beaches of Rio de Janeiro, or the villages of Africa,
soccer is a universal language that connects nations. We believe that God has given you a passion for soccer so that you can enjoy using it to share His love with the world. The Soccer DTS is for people of all skill levels – experience is not necessary –
just a love for the game and the atmosphere. If that is you, then this is the DTS for you!
The Soccer DTS is divided into 2 parts:
Part 1 – lecture phase

Spent living in a full on discipleship community located just a stones throw from the beach. Make new friends and learn about God together with young people from all over the world who are also passionately seeking God's heart. Each week we have guest speakers who come from dynamic ministries to share awesome truths - covering topics like: Hearing God's voice, The Father Heart of God, Relationships, Spiritual Warfare, and World Missions!
Of course we will also play lots of soccer! We will be involved in local soccer outreaches, preparing to use skills on outreach, and playing recreationally. |
Part 2 – outreach phase

Travel to strategic overseas locations to use soccer to engage with communities and young people. On outreach, you will be stretched to “live out” the principles learned during the lecture phase. Team dynamics come alive as people share their gifts, talents, and lives in ministry opportunities. Outreach is a great opportunity to create friendships with others while having an eternal impact. It is also a great way to test your call to world missions. |
